 WILLARD -- James J. Hess, 34, of 1011 Woodbine St., died Monday at his home of carbon monoxide poisoning. Mr. Hess was born Aug. 5, 1955, in New London and lived the past 13 years in Willard where he was an assistant pressman at R.R. Donnelley and Son. Surviving are his wife, Kathryn Stein Hess; a son, Daniel; his parents, James and Doris Hess of Norwalk; three brothers, John of Norwalk, Jerry of Greenwich and Jeff of Willard; five sisters, Mrs. Gary (Sharon) Eastman of Willard, Mrs. Richard (Carol) Schafer of Monroeville, Mrs. Larry "Leo" (Pat) Montgomery of Greenwich, Mrs. Ronald (Cindy) Carey of Toledo and Lynda Hess of Sandusky; and his maternal grandfather, William Schindler of New London. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Secor Funeral Home, where services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Roger Miller. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. |
