WILLARD -- David Lee Prater, 22, of rural Willard, died this morning at Providence Hospital, Sandusky. He was born in Willard and had spent his life here. He graduated from South Central High School in 1972 and had been employed by the Greenwich Enterprise-Review. He was a member of the Eternal Life Tabernacle in Willard. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe K. Prater of rural Willard; one brother, Kenneth at home; two sisters, Shirley Prater of Norwalk and Nancy Prater at home; paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Lacy Prater of Mt. Sterling, Ky., and Mrs. Grace Heizer of Denniston, Ky.; and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Monda Holliday of rural Willard. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Eternal Life Tabernacle by the Rev. Lloyd Baily. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the Secor Funeral Home. |
